American Technology Components, Inc. (formerly named Advantz Engineering
Corporation) was founded in October 1986 as a distributor of twelve-volt
audio systems and switch panels to the Van Conversion Industry.
Since that time, we have enjoyed consistent and steady growth.
We have expanded our product line to include the Recreational Vehicle,
Truck Cap and Specialty Vehicle markets. In addition, in 1991 we
started to manufacture our products in-house to achieve the high
quality and consistent supply that our customers expect and deserve.
In the fall of 1994, American Paneltronics was acquired and merged
into Advantz Engineering Corporation. Our name was then changed
in May 1995 to American Technology Components, Inc. to reflect our
broadening product, expanding technology and engineering expertise
in the electronic component marketplace.
To facilitate our growth, in the fall of 1995 we completed a brand
new 17,500 square foot manufacturing and engineering facility for
future expansion. In 2000 we added 5,000 additional square feet
of warehouse space.
In 1998, American Technology Components, Inc., acquired Innocorp
Manufacturing, an industry leader in 12 volt and 24 volt lighting
and plastic interior components, which expanded both our product
line and our customer base to include the Marine and Heavy Truck/Bus
and Transit Industries.
American Technology Components, Inc. is committed to providing
the very best quality products to our target industries.
